Hometown: Padua

Valentina De Zanche (b. 1992, Padua, IT) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice traverses drawing, installation, poetry, music, and performance, generating a hybrid visual and conceptual language. Her work engages deeply with themes of absence and persistence, exploring the fragile interplay between identity, memory, and the emotional residues of loss.
Driven by a poetic sensibility, De Zanche interrogates the tension between vulnerability and nostalgia, weaving intricate narratives that oscillate between personal and collective anxieties of the contemporary. In her latest research, she deconstructs the binary opposition of image and text, crafting liminal spaces where reality and fiction dissolve into one another, destabilizing conventional modes of perception and meaning-making.
