The Community

12. — 16.11.2016

The exhibition is composed of 18 photographers, who contribute with their take on arguably the most classic form of photography: the portrait. Facing-the-World acts as an overlay to The Community’s current larger exhibition, Being-in-the-World. The latter’s point of departure is viewing our existence as anchored in the physical and tangible, while Facing-the-World approaches the world from an opposite, metaphysical point of view, asking: how do we see the world and how are we seen in it?
