The Community is pleased to announce its first participation in LA Art Book Fair.

Our curated Booth I24 spotlights publications, artwork and clothing from our “Same Same but Different” installation in Paris. We will bring with us a special selection of books and magazines by Jean Boîte Éditions, Khaos Publishing, Landfill Editions, and exclusive print projects by Jaakko Pallasvuo, Centre for Style, Thompson Street Studio, Helen Korpak, Anna Niskanen, Jan Pakarinen, Eeva Rinne and always with us our friends from Novembre Magazine and Marfa Journal.

Included are artworks by Arnar Ásgeirsson and Jaakko Pallasvuo, and a curated selection of fashion pieces created exclusively for The Community by emerging designers including Maria Korkeila [Finalist of the festival d’Hyères 2017], ensæmble and Elina Laitinen [Winner of the festival d’Hyères 2012]. Plus a couple extra surprises!

At the LA Art Book Fair, we will exclusively release a special edition of long-sleeve t-shirts created by Swedish artist Ilja Karilampi in collaboration with the music label Lyxliv in anticipation of their first release “Cola”, a hyperactive grime record from up-and-coming producer Wastee.

Finally, we will be launching “Zinebruhchoff”, the first publishing project of The Community. It celebrates and documents the first five months of existence of the project with special artworks by the artists and designers with whom we have worked so far.
